A Chartered Engineer of IES is someone who has shown commitment to engineering profession and has attained, through peer review system, an internationally recognised and respected mark of competence in his or her area of Practice.
Acquiring Chartered status also demonstrates to fellow peers and colleagues that one takes pride in your profession and make a commitment to be among the best in your field.
Hence being registered as a Chartered Engineer (Singapore) will be an external validation of your experience, expertise and practicing competence; and is a quality mark to differentiate one's professional standing in your sector of engineering.
Kelvin envisages that by attaining the CEng would positively influence more TTS Group staff to attain CEng within TTS Group, with the ultimate mindset to help raise the level of transport engineering in Asia to a higher one!
